INDIAN WAR OFFICER

This officer is wearing the typical campaign dress seen in the Indian War period. He wears the officer's version of the 1872 Kepi and a five-button blouse with shoulder straps, as well as the dark blue regulation trousers and boots. His belt and accoutrements are officer's equipment that was authorized for wear. He carries an 1850 Foot Officer's sword with a bullion sword knot. His weapon is the 1873 Colt Single Action revolver.
