Dennis was born in 1948. He grew up and was educated in Cheyenne
Wyoming. After Graduating from High School Dennis enlisted in the Naval Reserve and served on Active Duty 1967-1968. He was stationed on the Mauna Kea AE-22 out of Port Chicago and Subic Bay, Philippines.
Upon returning from Naval Service Dennis worked as a Conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad for 42 years. At the same time that he worked at the Railroad Dennis owned and operated a small Cow/calf ranch in Northern Weld County, Colorado.In 1996, Dennis sold the ranch and moved back to Cheyenne Wyoming.
In 2008 Dennis retired from the Railroad and concentrated on the
residential rentals that he owned and managed in Cheyenne. He is now looking at spending more time on his hobbies, which include amateur calf roping, team roping, U.S. Civil War(he has a special interest in Gen. Robert E. Lee), the Old West, and Wyoming.
