This Infantry Major is wearing the pith helmet which was authorized for campaign and hot climates. He wears the 1895 pattern tan 5-button blouse with blue Infantry trim. He wears the correct collar insignia and regulation trousers tucked into officer's boots. He is wearing the officer's belt, buckle, and other authorized items on his belt. The knife is embellished with inscriptions from the Spanish American War. He carries an 1873 Colt Single Action Revolver with the 5" barrel and the 1850 Foot Officer's Sword.
